BRIAN WETZEL is a Wild Guy! He has collected a number of his own wild cultures and propogatedd them to grow his own native mushroom species. He has wondered the ravines enough to know and is a member of our Lichen Mushroom Sunday Afternoon Photo Foray group.

MIKE TURNER is the Resident Gardener at Ravine Gardens State Park and quite familiar with the park's mushrooms and park's mushroom growing patterns. As Resident Gardener Ranger, Mike has the unique opportunity to observe seasonal changes. He knows the areas with rhizomal beds and the logs that have frequent interesting growth patterns. Mikecology Mike is the one to know at Ravine Gardens. He is, also, around most days to ask where the good shrooms are blooming!

State Parks do not allow picking or removing mushrooms or plants under penalty of law. Everyone wants a picture and the park needs her shrooms.
